Realisation
In our work, we also teamed up with a customer who commissioned us to design a furnace with an innovative combustion system. The challenge was presented to us by a private investor from the beautiful city of Kraków. The innovative burner had already been developed without our involvement. However, we had to design the furnace to include an additional water jacket and a labyrinth for efficient heat removal from the flue gases.
The implementation of the successive stages of the project went smoothly, although we faced some difficulties. A particular challenge for us in this project was to design the machine in such a way that it could easily maintain the required tightness.
In order to meet the customer’s expectations and preferences, we had to apply various solutions. We proposed a suitable boiler steel for the furnace. This material is characterised by considerable resistance to high temperatures. Moreover, practically the whole furnace construction was made of metal sheets. As a result, we provided the client with DXF files for laser cutting.
An instruction manual with the sequence of steps was also included in the furnace design.
